Saint Mary Hoo is a small, pretty hamlet on the Hoo Peninsula in Kent between the Rivers Thames and Medway. It is mostly agricultural land with approximately 244 residents, 192 electors and 94 properties. (For more information about the area, read the Wikipedia entry or the Survey of Kent for St. Mary Hoo parish.) >>> Next Parish Council Meeting ~ Mon 20 July 2009 <<< Our Parish Council exists to represent its residents. We seek to enhance quality of life in the hamlet by preserving that which is historically important while developing that which could improve the services we receive. Medway Council is the unitary authority for our area.
